somewhere way up there [request]

Wheatley decided to begin wandering down a corridor. He was looking for someone that he regrets letting wander off, because now he had the responsibility of looking for her.

There is a girl, presumably one of the younger test subjects, that he had recently taken under his wing. He didn't know what it was about this girl that made him do so. Maybe it was the fact that they were both looking for a friend. He honestly didn't know, but it ended up with him wanting to continue looking after the girl.

As he strolled along, he wanted to call her name, but something in the back of his mind kept him from breaking the unnatural silence of the practically abandoned facility. He stopped and leaned against a wall. He gave a sigh and gazed out across the corridor, scolding himself about how much of an idiot he was for letting a young girl wander off in a dangerous place like this.

He looked at the ground, hoping that she'd return soon. He didn't want to be alone again, who knows if he'll ever find someone else to socialize with while the facility is in this state.  

Minutes passed, and besides a distant creak or static, there was no noise. Wheatley stared upward, and his azure blue eyes began to slowly close.. until a familiar voice breaking the silence made him jolt awake.

"Wheatley!" A young girl's voice sounded, causing Wheatley to look to the direction where the voice came from. Upon looking that way, he spotted a girl standing a few yards away. Once his vision cleared, he could tell exactly who that was.

"Twilight! Oh, it's you!" Wheatley replied with a grin, and began to make his way towards the girl. Never has he been to glad to hear his name be called.
